Technoblade is a YouTuber from Minecraft has passed away at the age of 23. His family shared an emotional video of his funeral on behalf of him.



The video, entitled "so long the nerds" and shared to his 10 million followers and showed his father calling him "the most amazing kid anyone could ever ask for".



The US internet star gained fame through streaming live and uploading videos of him playing the sandbox videogame.



Technoblade announced to his fans in the year 2000 that he had been diagnosed with cancer.



The father of his son read his farewell message a few hours before his passing. It began with "Hello everyone, Technoblade here." This is what you should be seeing. I am dead."



He then admitted that his real name was Alex. He also recalled the time he fooled viewers to believe his name be Dave.



He added, "Thank you all so much for supporting my work over the years," he added. "If I had another hundred lives I'm sure I'd choose to be Technoblade each time since those were the most enjoyable years of my life."



The online star, who has won Minecraft tournaments and had thousands of fans who reminisced about his life in a humorous manner while playing the game, explained in a fundraising video published in February that he undergone chemotherapy, radiation therapy and a limb salvage procedure after he developed a painful tumor in his right arm.



He died from sarcoma, which is an uncommon bone and soft tissue cancer.



In August 2021, he revealed his diagnosis of cancer. He stated that he initially believed that the discomfort he was experiencing was due to an injury sustained due to playing too much. After his arm became swollen the patient was admitted to the hospital and was diagnosed with cancer.



Technoblade's true identity is unknown. However, his avatar on the internet was a picture a crown pig.

'Strategizing in heaven'



Following the news of his passing, fans, fellow gamers and YouTubers paid tribute online.



J Schlatt recalled, "I'll never forget that day I met Technoblade." "I quit my job in the morning to play with him in an Minecraft tournament. I didn't know how to play... but the dude was able to get us through the whole event.



"Rest in peace, big guy. You'll be a legend for the rest of your life."



YouTuber Captain Puffy who is also known as Cara tweeted: "Rest in peace Technoblade He treated me with pure kindness and never excluded me from anything. He couldn't be more gracious!"



She said, "Thanks for everything you have done for the community. It will never be the same without you."



Tommy Innit stated that "Technoblade" is an icon. From being a huge fan, to one of his closest friends, I cannot even begin to describe how grateful I am to have been in his life. I just know he's strategizing in heaven on how to defeat God ..."



Ludwig Ahgren added, "I've been watching Technoblade's shows for more than an hour." "He was so clever, so humble even in the toughest of times. I'll always be inspired by him."



Quackity expressed his gratitude online as well, posting: "I had the opportunity to express to Technoblade the admiration and respect I have for him, not only for the massive impact his presence had on us all and his incredible humour, but also for maintaining his humour and wit even in the most difficult times. I will be sad to lose him."



"May the man rest in peace,"added eSports gamer Jake Lucky.



Technoblade's father thanked fans during the video that he sent to fans saying: "You meant a lot to him."



He explained that a portion of online orders for the items of his son will now go towards charity.



The video concluded with a written statement from his family. It included the following: "We, the family of Technoblade, wanted everyone to know how much he loved and admired his fans and coworkers.



"From Technoblade's very first days on the internet, he was always strategizing ways to please and reward his fans by giving away prizes online as well as encouraging good sportsmanship and, most importantly, sharing his Minecraft adventures to entertain and laugh.



"Even after his successes he still managed to maintain his good-natured humility, competing with a sly balance between confidence and self-deprecating humor."



Minecraft lets players create their very own virtual world by digging holes and collecting blocks.



Recent updates to the game have been utilized by children to develop their skills in the workplace, and to tackle real-world issues like flooding.



Ted Nevison described Technoblade as being "effortlessly humorous" and "endlessly talented". "Gone too soon," he said.



Bad Boy Halo also paid tribute, saying: "Words can't express how much you will be missed. The lives you've touched and the impact you've had on them will be remembered for a lifetime."



Slimecicle said Technoblade's "personality and sense of humour are an source of inspiration for me and many others."



"Thank you for everything you gave to the world. You left too soon, you will always be a legend."
